Event Description
ACU GIRLS' BASKETBALL CAMPS | 2018 Overnight Camp
The Overnight Camp provides fun opportunities for girls to develop and improve basketball skills, regardless of level; gain a greater knowledge of the game; receive personalized instruction in small groups for maximum attention and evaluation.
ACU Girls camp is directed by ACU Women’s head coach Julie Goodenough and her assistant coaches with support from ACU student-athletes. The coaching staff serves as Christian role models who lead campers in physical, mental, social and spiritual growth.
The overnight camp is designed for girls entering 5th grade through 11th grade to develop their skills in all aspects of the game. Campers are grouped according to age and skill level. Teaching sessions feature understanding and development of basketball skills, teamwork, work ethic, personal growth and self-esteem. Each day includes various competitions such as skill games, one-on-one, three-on-three, and five-on-five play.

Packing List:
- Three Day Supply of Workout Clothes & Basketball Shoes
- Tennis Shoes - Non-Black Soles
- Swim Suit
- Pillow, Blanket, Sheets, Towels & Toiletries
- Campers may deposit cash or check into Camp Bank to be used at Concession stand during camp.
Camp Facilities:
- Campers are housed in Nelson Residence Hall.
- Camp Sessions will take place at the Moody Coliseum and Royce and Pam Money Student Recreation and Wellness Center
Housing: Campers stay in residence on ACU’s campus. During the camp, campers are not permitted to leave campus unless prior arrangements have been made with the camp director, or in case of an emergency. Each camper will receive a key to lock her dorm room when she is not present. If the dorm key is misplaced, the camper will incur a $60 fee to re-key the room and make a new key.
