2018 Elite Camp

The vision for our Elite Camp is different than most. We want to make the best players in Raleigh, and North Carolina, better. Whether or not William Peace is your final college destination, our goal is to create an atmosphere that attracts the best of the best to compete for an afternoon specifically designed to improve your game.

We not only want to make you better when you are with us that afternoon, but we want to be a resource for you as you pursue the next level. We strongly believe that we have a ton to offer at William Peace. Even if WPU is not for you, we will help get you where you want to go.

LOCATION: Campus of William Peace University

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This August, we will host our 5th ever William Peace University Elite Camp. Each year of our camp, we have seen multiple campers commit to play basketball at WPU after experiencing what it is like to be a member of our program. In addition, even more campers have gone on to play college basketball at different institutions and levels. We firmly believe in what we do here at WPU, but want each camper that comes to our Elite Camp to gain first hand knowledge about the recruitment process to help them find the right FIT for their game, their education and their future.

At Peace, we believe in playing fast and together. The game of basketball is not rocket science. The teams that share the basketball better than their opponent usually win. We average around 90 possessions per game and have been in the top 10 nationally in 3 pointers attempted the last 4 years. We believe that you should score at 3 different levels: at the rim, from the free throw line and from the 3 point line. It is that simple. During our Elite Camp, we will teach you how to become a better basketball player. Period. We want you to learn to read the game and take it back with you to your high school to not only further your opportunities, but help your team get better.

We believe in 4 goals in our program that are on the road to us achieving 1 dream. Our 4 goals are:

1. Work Hard: we do this in everything that we do. The court, the weight room and the classroom.
2. Have Fun: we are competing in something that we love doing. It should be fun.
3. Make every possession count: basketball happens to fast to be worried about a “failure”
4. Play to win: we want to expose our guys to competition at all times to be able to learn to play to win.

Our dream is to win a national championship! We want to use these 4 goals daily to accomplish our dream. We want you to join us this August to get an inside look at our program and most importantly, get better!
