2018 SUMMER CAMPS

BOYS & GIRLS AGES: 6 - 17
GYM OPENS: 8:00 AM, No Supervision Until 8:30 AM
FULL DAY: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

FULL DAY: $150, Includes T-Shirt
HALF DAY: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
OR 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
HALF DAY: $100, Includes T-Shirt
TENTATIVE CAMP SCHEDULE
8:15 AM Early Drop-Off
9:00 AM Camp Begins / Stretching
9:30 AM Fundamental Stations
10:30 AM Morning Competitions
Lay Up, Free Throws, Speed Dribble, Line Jumps,
Beat The Clock, Knock Out, Hot Shot Competitions
12:00 PM Lunch | Campers Should Bring Their Own Lunch
12:45 PM Swimming | Bring Swimsuit, Towel & Sun Block
The swimming pool will be supervised by life guards and coaches.
Campers that do not wish to swim will be allowed to stay in the gym
to shoot or work on individual skills. Swimming is not mandatory.
1:30 PM Afternoon Competitions
Lay Up, Free Throws, Speed Dribble, Line Jumps,
Beat The Clock, Knock Out, Hot Shot Competitions
2:00 PM Basketball Skill Games
3:00 PM 3-on-3 & 1-on-1
4:00 PM Camp Ends

CHECK-INS: All Check-Ins will take place in the lobby of the Schreiner Univeristy Event Center.

DISCOUNTS: Schreiner University employee dependents are charged the half day rate. Campers that attend the multiple camps will receive a discount on the second and third camps at the half day rate. If you have multiple kids that would like to attend please call or email a coach to discuss discounts, 3 or more kids charged the half day rate.

REGISTRATION: Register Online, via mail in along with payment, or drop off at the Schreiner Men’s Basketball Offices. Walk up campers will be accepted on the first day of camp. Please make all checks payable to Schreiner University.

CAMP GEAR: All campers should be dressed in appropriate training gear.

WHAT TO BRING / CHECK LIST FOR PARENTS:

  • Shoes
  • Socks
  • Swimsuit
  • Sun Block
  • Towel
  • Lunch

THURSDAY AWARDS CEREMONY: Begins at 3:00 PM, parents and half day campers are welcome to join.

T-SHIRTS: All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

FOOD: Lunch is the responsibility of each camper, if a snack is sent with a camper the staff will store it for safe keeping until use. Camp concessions will be available each day.

INSURANCE: All campers must be covered by their own accident and medical insurance, and have a parental signature on the Parental Release and Indemnity Agreement.

REFUNDS: No refunds issued within 7 days of the start of camp or for any conflicting camps or tournaments, vacations, etc.
