UW-Stout Softball Camps

This 4-Week Intensive Progressive Camp is for the player who wants to build on her education of the components of explosive hitting. Campers will learn terms and fundamentals that will help develop the power to generate an explosive swing. What is it that makes GOOD hitters become GREAT HITTERS? Come join us to learn what it is that ALL GREAT HITTERS DO ALIKE.  

Drills using tee, side toss and front toss will emphasize leg drive, timing, bat speed, body posture, exit speed and the mental approach/mindset to explosive hitting. All campers will be provided with a camp tool to continue their explosive hitting training at home.

Day 1 will include video recording of each camper’s swing, a group discussion on the HOW of explosive hitting from the top NPF and MLB players of today and drill work

You will NEED to be comfortable with UNCOMFORTABLE

You will NEED to be willing to LOOK & FEEL AWKWARD

This camp is for the ELITE athlete…Elite in their mindset and willingness to listen, learn and work beyond their limits.

Each session will require extra work to be done at home during the week.

Location: Alumni Field & Sports and Fitness Center, University of Wisconsin-Stout, 220 13th Ave. East, Menomonie, WI 54751 - Parking Lot 4

Camp instruction will be the led by the UW-Stout Softball coaching staff, Head Coach Becky Iaccino & Assistant Coach Chris Iliopoulos, along with members of the 2018-2019 Softball team.

Campers should bring their own Helmet, Bat and water bottle. UW-Stout will not provide equipment such as bats and helmets.
