Event Description

  GIRLS ALL-SKILLS CAMP

UW-Oshkosh starts things off with its Girls All-Skills Camp that will work on all aspects of volleyball. Coaches will give you helpful hints on serving, passing, setting and blocking, as well as hitting instruction on footwork and offensive strategies. Camp 1 & 4 will also include six-on-six drills and a team tournament. These camps will be divided into appropriate grade and skill levels.

LOCATION: All sports camps will be on the scenic UW-Oshkosh campus, on the Fox River near beautiful Lake Winnebago. Campers will be housed near Albee Hall and Kolf Sports Center. Oshkosh is 50 miles from Green Bay, 90 miles from Milwaukee, 80 miles from Madison, and 160 miles from Chicago.

WHAT TO BRING: All participants should bring both workout garments and casual wear in order to participate in a variety of activities. Please bring your own volleyball shoes, kneepads, towels, alarm clock, soap and other toiletries. Swimming may be available, so please bring a swimsuit. Each room has a refrigerator, freezer and microwave. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow and blankets.

HOUSING & MEALS: You and another participant will share a room in one of our residence halls. Each room has two beds, desks, shelves, dressers and closets. You'll choose from a wide variety of food, including a salad bar, various entrees per meal and table filled with desserts. Meals are served all-you-can-eat, cafeteria style. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the entire camp are included in the fee if you are a resident or commuter. The resident hall is within one block of the sports complexes and cafeteria and is air-conditioned. Each room has a refrigerator, freezer and microwave.

VOLLEYBALL CAMP STORE: The camp store will be open throughout the camp. Volleyball apparel will be available for sale, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, hats, sweatpants and spandex.

CAMP SCHEDULE: The last day of each camp will consist entirely of tournament play. Parents are more than welcome to come to camp to watch their child play and attend the awards ceremony.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Your fee for the camps includes the cost of tuition, food and a camp gift. Air-conditioned housing with a microwave, freezer and refrigerator is also included if you are a resident. The resident hall, cafeteria and sports complexes are all within one block, and camp staff stays in the dorm to not only get to know you, but also to ensure that you are safe.

Last summer the Titans had a record breaking 1100 campers on campus!

CANCELLATIONS: Your fee less the $50 nonrefundable deposit, will be refunded without question if you cancel your enrollment two weeks prior to the first day of camp. Any time after the first day of camp, refunds (less the $50 dollar nonrefundable deposit), will be made only for medical reasons. Requests for refunds must be in writing and accompanied by a signed excuse from your physician. Campers, who must leave during the week due to illness or injury, will receive a prorated refund based on the number of sessions attended. Requests for refunds must be made prior to August 31, 2019.
