Hendrix Basketball Camps

2019 Summer Camps

Shooting Camp - Different from the full-day sessions, this two-day camp is focused on improving the shot of young boys and girls entering grades 4-12. Campers will be challenged to improve their form while also working on shooting game-like shots at game-speed. Footwork is also a big part of what is taught in this camp and each camper will be pushed, based not by the skill level of the camp, but by their own individual abilities.

Location
Each camp is held in the $24 million WAC on the campus of, Hendrix College. This state of the art facility holds three basketball court and 10 goals and is fully air-conditioned.

Lunch
Lunch will be available for $6 per day per child at the Boy's and Girl's Full Day Camps. This includes 2 pieces of pizza, chips, and a drink. Lunches will be available for purchase at the start of camp each day. (Lunch is not offered during the Lil' Warrior Camp or the Shooting Camp.)

Awards
Will be given to those campers performing the highest in the individual skills challenges and team competitions.

Staff
Camp instructors, lead by Head Men’s Basketball Coach Thad McCracken, will include local high school and college coaches as well as college players.

Insurance
Campers will be covered with an “excess” insurance policy during their participation in camp. In the event of an injury, you must first file a claim through your own policy, then this insurance will consider the remaining amount. Insurance is included in camp registration fee.
