2019-20 SCHOOL'S OUT 1-DAY CAMPS: BASKETBALL OR ALL SPORTS

2019-20 School's Out 1-Day Camp: Basketball or All Sports
Ages: 5 - 14
AM Session: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
PM Session: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Half-Day Cost: $45
Full-Day Cost: $80

Sample Daily Schedule
 8:30 - 9:00am: Campers arrive at facility; warm-up, shoot around (Music on!)
 9:00 - 9:15am: Welcome to the Super Skills!
 Expectations and Emphasis for the day
 9:15 - 9:30am: Athletic Warm-Up and Stretch
 9:30 - 10:30am: Sports Rotations #1:  Basketball, Soccer, Frisbee Golf
 10:30 - 10:45am: Short Break
 10:45 - 11:45am: Sports Rotations #2:  Hockey, Volleyball, Nerf Football
 11:45 - 12:00pm: Closing of morning session and Character Counts Presentation
 12:00 - 1:00pm: Lunch Break
 1:00pm: Afternoon session begins!
 1:00 - 1:15pm: Quick warm-up and loosen
 1:15 - 2:15pm: Sports Rotation #3:  Dodgeball, Spikeball, Whiffle Ball
 2:15 - 2:30pm: Short Break
 2:30 - 3:30pm: Sports Rotation #4:  Kickball, Team Handball, Obstacle Course
 3:30 - 3:45pm: Challenge the Coach!
 3:45 - 4:00pm: Closing of Camp, Character Counts Presentation

Is your child out of school? Super Skills offers several School’s Out: 1-Day camp programs to fit your needs during the 2019-20 school year. Designed for children ages 5-14, participants can choose between Basketball and All-Sports. The Basketball section will be full of basketball instruction and games; presenting a great opportunity for participants to improve their skills and have some fun. All equipment for this camp will be provided by Super Skills. Campers will be divided first by age and then by skill level during each activity. Both Half and Full Day options are available. Let’s have some fun!

  • Important Life Skills Lesson at the end of each session

Additional Information: 

  • Players may sign-up for half or entire day. Those attending the entire day will need to bring their lunch to eat between 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Players may be dropped off at 8:30 a.m. and picked up at 4:30 p.m., free of charge.

Easy Drop Off and Pick Up:

Drop-Off Details:  All parents should plan on coming into the gym on the first day of the program to register with your child. Participants can arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled session.

Pick Up Details:  All parents are certainly welcome to stay and watch any of our Super Skills programs. The Courts also has a small café section that operates as a nice place to get some work done. If you are not planning on staying, please plan to pick them up promptly after the session.

Schedule/What to Expect:  As I’m sure you are aware, our goal is to be a ‘Best in Class’ program.  Each session is designed to help participants develop a love for the game, learn detailed fundamentals, and motivate and encourage them to develop strong morals, values, and work ethic.  We believe strongly that a player can learn a lot more at a camp then just how to play sports.

What to Bring/Wear/Eat, Drink:  Each player should bring appropriate clothing and shoes to work-out and play sports in. Shoes appropriate for a basketball court are strongly advised.  If you are attending a 1-3 hour program, please also send them with a small snack and something to drink. If your child is attending an All-Day program, please also send them with a healthy lunch. Players will simply store their things in the bleachers in the gymnasium.
