In the game of basketball today, every players needs to be able to dribble. The APB ball handling camp will teach participants the ball handling and dribbling skills, drills, and techniques they need to master and navigate the court with complete confidence. The camp offers a creative and exciting curriculum that will teach the athletes how to cross-over defenders, develop their handle, and continue to train on their own. The curriculum focuses on individual skill development in ball handling & dribbling, a competitive environment, and progresses from individual moves, to drives and team aspects of penetration and kick. This camp will cover the following areas:
- Left and right hand dribble moves
- Learn when to attack and when to retreat
- Footwork
- Improve hand speed and vision
- Learn how to handle ball pressure
- Cross over
- Between the legs
- Behind the back
- 2 ball drills
- Tennis ball drills
- Control dribble
- Speed dribble
- Power dribble
- How not to dribble
Required Skill Level:
- Intermediate or Advanced.
