Dear Prospective Camper:
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Softball coaching staff and student-athletes would like to invite you and your teammates to participate in our UWL Softball Fall League. The league is open to softball players in grades 7-12. The registration fee is $110 for each individual participant (plus $10 online registration fee).
The timeline is as follows:
- Prior to September 15 – Registrants will receive Instructional videos and files (via email)
- Sunday, September 20 – Instruction and one 7-inning (or 80-minute) game
- Sunday, September 27 – One 1-hour warmup and Two 7-inning (or 80-minute) games
- Sunday, October 4 - One 1-hour warmup and Two 7-inning (or 80-minute) games
- Sunday, October 11 - Consolation-Championship Tournaments – One 1-hour warmup and Two 7-inning (or 80-minute) games
- Sunday, October 18 - Raindate
In order to provide a quality experience to all registrants and keep the camper-instructor ratio at an acceptable level, we are:
- Making the league available to softball players in grades 7-12
-
Limiting the number of participants in this year’s league to 8 teams of 12 players
(96 total registrants) - Holding the league at one complex (Jaycee Fields near 599 Quincy Street in Onalaska)
The registration deadline is Tuesday, September 1st
When you register:
- Choose your desired division based upon your skill level (upper, lower, either). With safety in mind, we will do our best to match-up teams with similar experience/skill levels.
- Choose your desired time slot (morning, afternoon, either). NOTE: We will not be able to guarantee that you will always play during your desired time slot. Your flexibility on shifts will allow your daughter the chance to play a variety of opponents.
- If you plan to play on a pre-determined team of 12, please choose “Team” from the drop-down menu during the online registration process. If you are signing up as an individual and have a few others with which you would like to play (possibly, for carpooling reasons), please choose “Individual” from the drop-down menu and list the other girls’ first and last names where prompted.
If you have questions, please contact Coach Chris Helixon at 608-785-6536.
We hope to see you on the field this fall.
GO EAGLES! TAKE FLIGHT!
