2018 Standardized Testing Camps

SAT / ACT Boot Camp: 10th-12th Grades
There’s a lot of anxiety about college admissions and the role that the SAT and ACT play in the process. “By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail”, said Benjamin Franklin.

Private tutorials and multiple week preparation courses aren’t, however, appropriate for every schedule or budget.  This Boot Camp covers all sections of the exam: Heart of Algebra, Problem-solving and Data Analysis, and Passport to Advanced Math in the Math section, and in the English and Reading sections, Command of Evidence, Words in Context, Expression of Ideas, and Standard English conventions.

This is NOT, however, just a review of English and Math.  It is a behind-the-scenes guided tour by an SAT and ACT expert through the traps the questions writers set and how to avoid them, and techniques you can employ to maximize your score by knowing which questions to answer, in what order, and strategies on how best to answer them.  In short, we cover the information the College Board and the ACT don’t want you to know. (Enrollment in both this workshop and “How not to Sweat About a Standardized Test” will be discounted from $200 to $175.)
