Camp Description: In a land far far away… The Empower, Enrich, and Excel Program puts on a play! Explore the world of theater as we learn all about costumes, props, and performance. We will practice a play to be performed on the final day of Super Summer. Let your creative side shine by building the setting, preparing costumes, and/or performing in a play!

What is Enrich, Empower, Excel?

A three-week summer school program open to Ames Community School District students who are wanting a challenge designed to:
  • Offer students special courses not generally accessible in the regular school curriculum.
  • Give students an opportunity to study with a community professional or instructor in a chosen field of interest.
  • Provide students an opportunity to study a subject in-depth.
  • Busing is provided for Enrich, Empower, Excel. *
  • Tuition for Enrich, Empower, Excel is not tax exempt.
  • Free lunch will be included
*Transportation to the site will be available for the first session and home after the third session. If a student wishes to take advantage of transportation they will need to be enrolled in each of the three sessions, if not, they will need to have alternate transportation home. The bus company will follow the routes that were used during the 2018-2019 school year and only those routes.
What does it cost?
  • The tuition fee is $95.00 per class. The fee includes all materials and lunch. Lunch will be served daily, time - TBA, in the school cafeteria.
  • All fees are refundable, minus $10.00 service fee per class, through May 3, 2019.  After May 3, there will be NO refunds.  No Exceptions.
