This summer camp is hosted by UTSA’s mechanical engineering faculty members and graduate assistants. The workshop is supported by a grant from the US Department of Defense STEM Manufacturing Engineering Education Program. The workshop provides high school students the opportunity to learn about defense advanced manufacturing industry and current/future technologies that are shaping U.S. global manufacturing leadership. Students will be exposed to topics on: AI/Machine Learning, Mechatronics, and Advanced Manufacturing Systems Engineering. Students will also get the opportunity to view labs used to conduct research in these topic areas and participate in lab projects.
