Oregon Track & Field Camp
Event Description
|
Come run with the Ducks! The University of Oregon will be hosting a Track & Field camp from Monday, June 25th through Friday, June 29th. Eugene is home to Historic Hayward Field, where World Champions and Olympians train and compete. Eugene also has some of the best trails in the country for distance runners including Pre’s Trail, Amazon Trail, Hendrick’s Park, the River Path and Ridgeline. This camp will include instruction for Track & Field disciplines as well as distance/cross country runners, who want to build up their Summer fitness base in the mecca of elite running, jumping and throwing. Experience the magic of TrackTown USA and experience where the Ducks get to train every day!
In order to provide a valuable experience, campers will be split up into small event specific training groups to encourage personal attention and to provide plenty of feedback. Campers will be taught by the University of Oregon's renowned coaching staff alongside many of Oregon's current and former student-athletes.
