ANKENY HIGH SCHOOL CAMPS | Track Camps

This Track Camp is led by the Ankeny Track & Field Coaching Staff. Open to ANY and ALL Students Enrolled in Ankeny Community Schools. |
GIRLS TRACK CAMP
Ankeny Hawks Girls Track and Field staff will be hosting a four day track and field clinic for girls in grades 4th - 7th. Athletes will be taught proper warm up, running mechanics, sprints, starts, relay exchanges, hurdles, high jump, long jump, distance running, and throws. By the end of the week, they should have developed the skills and confidence to participate in events of their choice in the track and field competitions at the Iowa Games, held at the Iowa State Track in Ames, July 21st. All athletes should come with proper running clothing, running shoes, and a water bottle. Participants will receive a "Ankeny Hawk Track & Field" t-shirt.
