Event Description
Lynchburg College Women's Soccer
Spring ID Camp
On April 22, the Lynchburg College Women's Soccer team will host an ID Camp. This one-day event is designed for players who have a serious interest in playing at Lynchburg College. The camp will provide players with the opportunity to showcase their talent and interact with our program in an intimate manner. Players will receive instruction from our coaching staff and befriend our players during two training sessions, which will highlight the technical and tactical elements that we emphasize in our daily training.
Along with the training session, the ID Camp participants will have the opportunity to play in small-sided games and compete in an 11v11 match. During the games, each student-athlete will receive instruction within the game to improve positional play and elevate their game to meet the demands of the college game. Additionally, we will have a luncheon Question and Answer session, and an Admissions Information tession and tour. Campers will also receive an Adidas Climalite t-shirt.

At Lynchburg, the soccer team is predicated on team investment and the understanding of the importance of strong team dynamics. Players must analyze and acknowledge their roles in leadership, accountability, and team building. With this working philosophy serving as the program’s mission, players train and play harder for each other. This is the “Lynchburg Way.” It is also the platform for the Lynchburg Women’s Soccer ID Camp. Campers will be involved in two sessions that will expand their individual technique and skills, with an even greater emphasis on understanding the game and the player’s role within a team and system of play.
Our program philosophy is held up by three pillars on which we base our success; Scholarship, Service, and Soccer. We recruit young women of character that wish to undertake an experience that is more than just soccer, it is about making a long lasting impact that goes beyond the field.
