Goalkeeper & Striker Academy
Specialized Training
A unique opportunity to work specifically on GK training and Striker finishing for players born on or between the years 2001-2009 Birth years (U9-U16’s) offered this spring of 2018. 8 intensive coaching sessions that specifically relate to goalkeepers and strikers, each session is 60 minutes.
All Sessions (GK and Striker) will be coached by Nick Roberts/ USSF A License, English Preliminary Coaching License and The NSCAA Premier Diploma. He is the Head Coach at Urbana University, Conference Coach of the year in 2012 and 2016 and Regional (Atlantic) Coach of the Year in 2016.
The program is limited to 16 goalkeepers and to 16 strikers in these age groups to maximize the education and coaching of the coaches while developing the skills of the players.
The cost per player for the 8 specialized trainings (1 hour and 15 minutes long) is $160.00 for the program (8 sessions).
Each player will receive a specialized training jersey (long sleeve) and a evaluation for all players attending.

Location: All clinics will be conducted at Urbana University on Sunday afternoons (Except 1 session that will be Monday May 21st) during the spring soccer season. There are 8 sessions throughout the spring. (Dates listed below).
The Goalkeeper Academy: will learn specific drills and techniques from basic handling to dealing with crosses, saving high and saving low, communication, playing with the feet, and distribution to field players. In addition, players will be coached on footwork and how to improve agility and quickness for the position. The sessions will be intense and the players will work to improve their game. Only sixteen (16) GK’s can be accepted into this specialized program for spring 2018.
