2019 Defiance College Yellow Jacket Futsal Tournament

We are excited to announce the dates for the 4th Annual Defiance College Yellow Jacket Futsal Tournament:

The mens' tournament will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

Registration is open for all high school and high school age club teams.

The game of futsal is a fast paced 4v4 + keepers game that occurs on a hard surface, requiring technical ball mastery and allowing for spectacular tricks. It is one of three officially recognized FIFA games along with soccer and beach soccer - each with their own World Cup.

Group visits will be available, starting at 10am on Sunday, Feb 3rd. This will include a full campus tour and admissions presentation. For more details and to register, please contact Jordan Valentine at jvalentine@defiance.edu.

Team Registration:
When registering as a team, your team captain/coach must first register your team, as each player can then register under your specific team name once your team has been registered.  If your team is not registered first, then players from that team will not be able to register. We will accept check or cash for payments on site, if prior arrangements have been made by contacting Jordan Valentine.

Tournament Rules and Reminders

Team Registration: Price per team is $120. Nonrefundable $50 deposit when registering by mail.

Individual Registration: It is possible to register as an individual (price $15). You will be placed on a house team with other players who have signed up individually. If you would like to be put on the same team as a friend, please register at the same time and then contact Jordan Valentine requesting to be placed on the same team together. This will be first come first serve, and we will place you together as best we can.

Registration: 9:00am

Games Times: Saturday, February 23rd - 10am-7pm

Age Division: High school and high school age club teams.

Games: Pool Play then championship bracket
