Specialized Goalkeeper training is offered at Residential Camp, with seperate Goalkeeper specific training times. Training focuses on all aspects of GK development. Training is intense, focused, disciplined, challenging, yet fun! This rigorous program is for the serious competitive goalkeeper!
UNCW is well known for producing talented goalkeepers - currently two former Seahawks play professionally in the US! New England Revolution Goalkeeper, Brad Knighton and Brandon Miller of the Charlotte Indepenence. Come and train with the Seahawks!
Spaces will be limited, so be sure to sign up early!
Live on campus and train like the college player!
For those who wish to train and play at an advanced level! The Residential Camp Goalkeeper Academy incorporates challenging training sessions, high level evening games, evaluation and discussion with staff coaches. The emphasis will be more on tactical understanding and development, roles and functions of positions.
Goalkeepers will be assigned to teams to play in the evening games and get game experience.
