This camp is designed for girls that are either entering high school or are currently in high school. The Elite Prospect ID Camp is open to goalkeepers and field players. Training sessions will be run by JBU staff members and is designed to allow players to experience competitive sessions at the college level, while giving players an opportunity to be exposed to John Brown University and the coaching staff. Campers will be instructed in technical and tactical aspects of their game, while also experiencing both small sided and full field games through out the course of the camp. Any high school players desiring to play at JBU are highly encouraged to attend this camp. The cost will include training sessions, all meals, two nights of boarding, exposure to the JBU campus, and a camp t-shirt.
Location
The Lady Golden Eagle Soccer Academy will be held on the campus of John Brown University, 2000 West University Street, Siloam Springs, AR 72761. Residential campers will stay in Hutcheson Hall on JBU’s campus, and meals will be served in JBU’s Kresge Dining Hall.
Goalkeepers
There will be specialized sessions for goalkeepers each day covering angle play, technique, distribution, and footwork. Sessions will be directed by a qualified goalkeeper coach.
Special Notes
- Residential Campers will stay in Hutcheson Hall on JBU’s campus (the dorm near the soccer field).
- Bring your own bedding!
- It is recommended to bring spending money for the LGESA camp store.
- Registration/Check-In will take place in the Hutcheson Hall lobby.
- NO REFUNDS for campers who are dismissed for breaking camp rules.
