Goalkeeper & Forwards Camp

Players will be taught specific individual training with a focus on each position and then be put into scenario training and small sided games.

Forwards will  focus on first touch away from pressure, finding space, playing with back to goal. Striking and finishing inside the box, forward runs, finesse finishing, heading, penalties, free kicks.

Goalkeepers will work on all aspects of the positioning from handling, shot stopping, movement during game play, crosses and be tested throughout the camp by the attending forwards.

After the morning session, all players will take part in presentations on both goal keeping and finishing with the Creighton staff. This will include group talks, and video presentations.

The last 45 minutes of camp will include a goal keeper vs. forward challenge course, which allows players in both positions to pit themselves against each other.
