High School Team Camp  |  At Assumption College

Assumption College Women's Soccer would like to invite you for a day of training, competing against local high school teams, and team building activities to enhance your overall team culture!

The Camp emphasizes player development in a challenging, stimulating environment. Our curriculum is designed for the serious soccer player looking to play at the next level. Technical and tactical aspects of the game are developed throughout the 1st part. The day culminates with 11v11 games and sessions educating participants on topics such as the college recruiting process, flexibility, conditioning, and nutrition for soccer. Goalkeeping specific sessions are also integrated within this curriculum and focus on all key areas of this unique position.

Location: Multi Sports Stadium, Assumption College

What To Bring:

  • Water Bottle
  • Shin Guards - Required of All Players
  • Sneakers or Indoor Soccer Shoes - In Case of Inclement Weather
  • Rain Gear
  • Sunscreen

Schedule:

  • 8:00 - 9:45 a.m. → Team Training Sessions
    • Sessions are run by college coaches with current college players assisting your team. Topics include Transition, Team Defense, Attacking
  • 10:00 - 11:45 a.m. → Team Builders
    • Team builder activities run by college coaches to get to know your team better and build that chemistry that will translate to the field!
  • 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. → Lunch
    • Lunch will be provided at Taylor Dining Hall on campus where our student-athletes eat their meals daily. There is an Allergy Free section that accommodates Gluten, Shellfish, Peanut / Tree nut, and Dairy Allergies.
  • 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. → Team 1 vs. Team 2
    • Team 3 will attend a player panel where you and your high school team mates can ask questions to college student-athletes about their specific recruiting process, college life, academics, etc!
  • 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. → Team 1 vs. Team 3
    • Team 2 will attend a player panel where you and your high school team mates can ask questions to college student-athletes about their specific recruiting process, college life, academics, etc!
  • 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. → Team 2 vs. Team 3
    • Team 1 will attend a player panel where you and your high school team mates can ask questions to college student-athletes about their specific recruiting process, college life, academics, etc!
