Youth Soccer Camp

 

This Youth Soccer Camp is developed to provide training for youth soccer players by college level coaches & players. Technical & tactical instruction will be included in the training through drills, competitions, and small-sided games.

DAILY TIME: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
COST: $90 | T-Shirt Included

LOCATION: HU Soccer Field (Located on Bison Lane beside tennis courts).

GOALKEEPERS / FIELD PLAYERS: Goalkeepers will be separated during training session to receive specified instruction from our goalkeeping coach.

DISCOUNTS: In order to keep camp costs reduced, no discounts are offered at this time. Fees are non-refundable after camp begins & are only prorated in emergency or prearranged situations.

CHECK-IN / REGISTRATION: Registration for each camper will take place inside the new HU Soccer Building (beside tennis courts on Bison Lane) on Monday morning between 8:15 AM and 9:00 AM. Each camper should bring an appropriately sized ball for camp at the time of registration. Balls will be available for an additional $10 purchase only if indicated on the pre-registration form. Camp t-shirts will be distributed on the last day of camp. Walk-on campers will be accepted until all positions are filled.

WHAT TO WEAR: It is recommended that campers wear shorts, tshirt, socks, cleats, and sunscreen. 

WHAT TO BRING: Campers will need to bring their own ball, shin guards, running shoes (for inclement weather days only), and gloves (goalkeepers). Campers may opt to bring a fillable water bottle.

DRINKS / BREAKS: Campers will have frequent water breaks during sessions (cups and water will be provided).

INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the case of bad weather camp sessions will be moved inside of the Ganus Athletic Center for practice and/or classroom sessions. Campers will need tennis shoes rather than cleats on inclement weather days.

STAFF: The camp will be directed by MEN'S COACH JON IRELAND & WOMEN"S COACH GREG HARRIS. Camp staff will consist of college coaches and players that will be able to instruct campers in the proper technical and tactical areas.
