University of Mary Men’s & Women’s Soccer in conjugation with The Keeper Institute will be putting on a Goalkeeping Clinic for Coaches wanting to be more knowledgeable in coaching Goalkeepers, this course will be led by former US Women’s National Team Goalkeeper, Jillian Loyden and CEO/Owner of The Keeper Institute.

The Keeper Institute is an all-encompassing training school that aims to educate aspiring goalkeepers and coaches in every component of the game. Our aim is to teach the areas of technique,decision-making, strength and conditioning, all while equipping our students with leadership skills, resiliency, and sportsmanship.

TKI Founder and CEO, Jillian Loyden, will take you through a workshop that will help you develop your goalkeepers from youth to professoinal. Each coach will leave with a greater understand of the modern day goalkeeper needs and have to train them!

MODERN DAY GOALKEEPERS
We will cover what the modern day trends are from youth players, to college players, and what the Pros are seeing on a regualar basis. We will show data to uncover the profile of a modern day goalkeeper at each level.

AGE SPECIFIC TRAINING
We will breakdown the most important foundations that are vital to a goalkeeperʼs development. We will provide age specific training sessions that will help develop target areas for each goalkeeperʼs skill level and competence.

TRAINING SESSIONS
Now you know what it looks like to be a modern day goalkeeper and what ages to implement different techniques, now letʼs plan some sessions! We will show you our methodolgy, how we design sessions, and different sessions that can strengthen diferent areas of the game!
