The Winter I.D. Camp will feature the staff of the Kent State women’s soccer team as well as other women’s college coaches from Division I, II and III soccer programs from across Ohio and Pennsylvania.

This one-day event is designed for advanced player development and exposure to Division I, II and III women’s college coaches from the area. College coaches who have attended in the past and conducted clinic sessions are Kent State, Baldwin Wallace, Cal-Pa, Capital, Cleveland State, Defiance, Hiram, IUP, John Carroll, Kenyon, Lake Erie, Muskingum, Oberlin, Ohio Northern, Slippery Rock, Thiel, Wooster, and Ursuline. In addition to college coaches, Kent State players will be used for demonstration proposes.

The Kent State staff believes that players need to be exposed to the technical, physical, and mental demands of the college game. This same philosophy will be applied at the I.D. Camp. The focus of all activities will be to allow the campers to experience what it takes to compete at the collegiate level by having the players participate in game like activities and in an environment, that showcases their abilities.

Enrollment in the camp is limited to players who want to play collegiate soccer. Players will receive individual instruction from the staff of college coaches in attendance. A combination of a training session, small-sided 8v8  and 11v11 games will be at the core of the camp curriculum. Goalkeepers will have private instruction from specific goal keeper coaches during the training session portion and play in goal during the 8v8 and 11v11 games.

Camp Schedule: Start with check-in followed by a training session for field players and goal keepers, lecture recruiting process by head coach, Rob Marinaro / panel discussion with current Kent State players, and finishing with 8v8 and 11v11 games.

→ 1:00 PM: Training Session
→ 2:15 PM: Recruiting Lecture Panel Discussion with Players
→ 3:30 PM: 8v8 Small Sided Games
→ 5:00 PM: 11v11 Games
→ 7:15 PM: Camp Closes

Registration Deadline: We will take registrations up to 48 hours prior to the camp or until camp fills up! In past years we have had a waiting list so register early.

Footwear: We have installed new Field Turf surface in our Kent State Field House so outdoor cleats and turf shows are now allowed!

Meals: No meals are provided but there are plenty of food options close by our Field House.

Medical Release Form: Every participating camper must print off and bring a completed KSU Medical Form.

Refunds: There is a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee for any cancellations two weeks before camp date.
