ABOUT THE CAMP

The Heidelberg Basketball Fall Camp is aimed at high school upperclassmen who want to play college basketball.  The instruction you will receive is intended to give you an inside look at what it’s like in a college practice setting and to expose you to the rigors of collegiate basketball.

CAMPERS WILL RECEIVE:

  • Individual instruction provided by the Heidelberg University Men’s Coaching staff
  • Position specific instruction for guards, wings, and post players
  • Offensive and Defensive concept breakdowns (ex. ball screen execution)
  • Campers will have the opportunity to compete in 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 settings

ABOUT HEIDELBERG BASKETBALL

In his six seasons as the head coach of the Heidelberg University men’s basketball team, Andy Bucheit has helped restore pride and purpose within the program.  By recruiting outstanding student-athletes who have the desire to succeed in the classroom, in the community and on the court, Bucheit’s squad has climbed the standings in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Bucheit and his coaching staff understand what it takes to win.  Between playing and coaching careers of assistants Corey Harvey, Reid Jacoby and Bucheit himself, the Heidelberg staff has combined for three conference regular season titles, four conference tournament crowns and nine NCAA Tournament appearances.  The staff has been to the Final Four one time.

Heidelberg competes in the Ohio Athletic Conference -- one of the toughest leagues in Division III in all sports.  Each season, the OAC has several teams ranked in the Top 25.
