COACHES CLINIC

 

Join us for a great single day coaching clinic on January 12, 2020. This clinic is great for beginner to intermediate level coaches. We will cover topics ranging from the mental side of the sport to offensive and defensive systems. Space is limited, so we suggest you reserve your spot now, during our early-bird registration. There is also a $10 discount for each additional coach on your staff or in your club (must register as a group). In addition to the over 9 hours of onsite instruction, each participant will also receive access to 4 online courses they may take at their own pace and leisure. Each coach will receive a coaching manual and other great resources to take home.

Maroaune Jafir Bio

Marouane has over 19 years of combined experience playing internationally and professionally and coaching at the high school, club, collegiate and university levels.

Marouane's ability to assess player skills and design technical training programs to increase those skills is a vital component in advancing players in their game. Possessing a deep understanding of NCAA rules and regulations as well as many college contacts, Marouane is well equipped to assist young players with the college recruiting process. He is constantly re-educating himself with innovative training techniques.
 
As a player Marouane was ranked number one in Morocco and was a champion of Morocco during his nine-year tenure with the Tihad Sport Volleyball Club (TSC). His TSC team won the Moroccan Cup (1995-1997, 1999-2001) and the Moroccan Super Cup (1996, 1998 and 2001). He is a three-
 
time Moroccan player of the Year and was a Moroccan National Team Player from 1997-1999. As a National Team Player in the African Nations Cup Marouane’s team finished second among sixteen countries and he was awarded the fourth best player honors by the African Federation of Volleyball. Marouane played in the 1997 and 1998 African Nations Cup tournaments, finishing 4th and 3rd place respectively.

BJ LeRoy Bio

BJ LeRoy is CAP III certified and is a USAV cadre member. He teaches coaching methods in the US and abroad. He serves as the Badger Region education chair and ethics chair. He helped form the Region in 1994 and received the Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award in2001. He has coached boys and girls from age 8 through adults since 1990. He helps administer the largest volleyball coaching organization in the world, Volleyball Coaches and Trainers (Facebook).
 
He is part of several study groups that evaluate research on coaching best practice, motor learning and high performance.
