High School Boys Residential Team Camp

Each team will be placed with a collegiate coach and have specific training plans designed to meet the teams needs. Teams will compete during the evenings for games against other teams at the camp. An all star game will take place on the second night to showcase the top players from each school in front of the college coaches.

Goalkeeper training will be offered as well through small groups, technical, and tactical training, as well as instruction during the games.

Residential camp is open to individual players who’s high school teams are not participating.

All players should bring: shoes, cleats, shin guards, socks, shorts, shirts, towels, sunscreen, linens for twin beds, bed linens, toiletries, and a soccer ball.

A brief message from the director of camps:

East Central Community College is excited to begin its 20th year of hosting camps, events, and 7v7 tournaments for players. As we have improved our facilities, we are excited to bring in players and teams from around the state to our camps. Our staff, made up of collegiate coaches both from America and the international level, offer our campers a fun environment that will both improve them technically and tactically, but also push them to be their best.

The Morning and afternoon training will focus on both individual technique and team tactics. The coach who is assigned to you will be a licensed coach with expertise at designing sessions to cater to your needs. We are looking forward to a great event and can’t wait to see you all!

Colleges from NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and NJCAA will be on staff.

Important Information:

Dorms:

Players will be assigned rooming 2 per room by their coaching staff from their respective high schools

Each player must bring $20.00 cash for a key deposit that will be returned to the player once keys are turned in during checkout

Please pack appropriately and bring the following items:

1.        Twin bed linens, pillow, blanket

2.        Towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.)

3.        Snacks, drinks, water, Gatorade for the dorm (water will be provided on the field)

4.        Extra training shirts, socks, shorts, shin guards, cleats, indoor/running shoes

5.        Cash for extra pizza at night ($10.00 per pizza)

6.        SUNSCREEN!

Check-In:

Teams should report to the South Campus of East Central Community College for dorm check-in at Barber Hall and the New Women’s Dorm between 7:00AM and 9:00AM

There will be a mandatory camp meeting at 1:00PM in Huff Auditorium with all players and coaches

Meals:

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner will be provided in our cafeteria on Sunday/Monday for the girl’s camp and Thursday/Friday for the boy’s camp. We will provide donuts/chocolate milk for breakfast on Tuesday for the girls and on Saturday for the boys; pizza at the pavilion will be for lunch on the last day of camp, too.

All-Star Game:

There will be an All-Star Game on the 2^nd night of camp for each of the boy’s and girl’s events. The college staff’s will choose players for those games and each player will receive a shirt for the game to play in and keep.

Extra Activities:

On our campus, we have a variety of things to do for team bonding! We have beach volleyball courts, a full disc golf course, and also have a full 9-hole FootGolf course located near our lake!

Team bonding activities on the first night of each event will include a talent show for the girl’s camp and a FIFA Tournament for the boy’s camp.

We are excited to host your players and teams for our Summer Camp series during June! We have an exciting group of college coaches attending our event who will cater to your teams’ needs and season goals. Once coaches have been paired with the high schools, I will send your contact information to your staff coach who will reach out to you to plan sessions and training based on what you want to accomplish.

We will have our East Central Community College players as chaperones and there to walk with your teams to all events, games, sessions, meals, etc. They are there to serve you and your teams as ambassadors to the college and camp.

The ECCC Soccer Camp Series is open to any and all (Limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender)
