17th Annual Men's 7v7 Outdoor Tournament

The Wartburg Men’s Soccer Team invites you to participate in its annual outdoor soccer tournament in Walston-Hoover Stadium on Wartburg’s Campus in Waverly, Iowa. The FieldTurf playing surface and wind-protected setting make for a great outdoor spring event.

Teams will be placed in small groups for round-robin play. The top teams from each round robin group will then advance to single-elimination play culminating into a championship game. All teams will be guaranteed at least three games.

*NOTE: A SCHOOL MAY ENTER MULTIPLE TEAMS. PLEASE FILL OUT A SEPARATE REGISTRATION FOR EACH TEAM.

Location: Walston-Hoover Stadium on Wartburg’s Campus in Waverly, Iowa

Games Details:    

• 7v7 (6 field players plus a goalkeeper)
• 2 x 18 minute halves with a 3-minute half time
• Begin at 8:00am with tournament completion around 7:00pm
• Athletic trainer available (Please bring your own supplies i.e. tape/prewrap)

The tournament will accept a maximum of 16 teams. Applications, accompanied by a non-refundable entry fee of $175.00, must be received by April 6th, 2020. Teams will be notified of their game schedule by April 10, 2020.
