Summer ID Clinic One - Day

June in the ‘Burg is usually very warm, beautiful and a tiny bit quiet without the students here!  

This one-day ID clinic is a fantastic opportunity to have an up close and personal experience with our Women’s Soccer Program at William and Mary over the course of a day.  Head Coach Julie Shackford will be unable to attend this clinic, which will be run by her entire staff of capable assistants and players!  Our recruiting process at William & Mary is very collaborative with assistants carrying alot of the recruiting load, and rest assured, we will provide the red-carpet William & Mary clinic experience even in her absence!

Players will have the opportunity to be coached by and interact with our staff and some of our team members, as they partake in technical training, small sided, functional environments as well as full sided games.  Goalkeepers will have specialized training during the technical piece.

The morning session will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. and include warm up, technical training and full sided play.  We will break midway through the clinic for a panel discussion/Q&A with current team members which will include lunch for players.

The afternoon will conclude with a small sided tournament and Championship Match which will conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. with an optional campus tour to follow

*PLEASE NOTE: All ID clinics are held outdoors, and while we will go forward even in slightly inclement weather, we do not have an indoor alternative and reserve the right to cancel the clinic in the event of excessive rain or storm.  If severe weather is forecasted we would make the decision to cancel the clinic as far in advance as possible, and it is highly advisable you are making travel plans with this in mind to obtain necessary insurance or refund policies.  We will gladly process refunds or provide credits to future camps but will not be responsible for any travel expenses incurred in the event the clinic must be cancelled due to weather.  Knock on wood, we’ve never had to cancel an ID clinic to date!
