Colonial Kicks Soccer Camps
2020 Colonial Kicks Summer Programs
College ID Program: Any and all rising 9th graders and up will be placed in our College ID Program. Goalkeepers must sign up for the Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy. Click on the tab for more information. The ID program operates with the goal of providing campers with feedback regarding opportunities to compete in intercollegiate soccer. College ID Program participants will be coached exclusively by college head or assistant coaches. In addition, each College ID Program participant will receive an evaluation providing feedback on where he may fit in the college soccer picture.
Summer Soccer Camp: The camp is available to any and all boys ages 10 and up. Players will be grouped with others of similar age and/or ability dependent upon enrollment. Exceptions to the minimum age limit are possible, but must be approved by the Camp Director.
Cost: The cost is $595 for residents and $460 for commuters for both the College ID Program and Summer Soccer Camp. For pricing on the Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy, please click on the Goalkeeping Academy tab. Residential campers will receive room, board, and a camp t-shirt. A discount of $45 per camper will be given to teams of 10 or more. Teams must notify the Camp Director of their intention to attend as a team, in order to receive the discount.
Commuter Option: Campers in all programs have the option of registering as commuters. Commuters are expected to arrive on Sunday and register at the same time as everyone else and will need to bring soccer equipment as we will be playing. Commuters will receive dinner that day as well as lunch and dinner on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, we depart before lunch, so commuters will not receive a meal that day. Commuters will also receive a camp t-shirt. During breaks, there are numerous common areas and lounges in which commuters can rest.
Instruction: The philosophy of the Colonial Soccer Kicks Soccer Camp is to create a fun, welcoming soccer environment that focuses on the continuing technical and tactical development of each individual, regardless of current experience or ability. All staff members are experienced and well-qualified to help facilitate a fantastic soccer experience. Each camper will receive a written evaluation at the end of camp.
Special Features: Three lighted, artificial turf fields will be used for training, matches, special activities and small-sided games. Awards will be given for various competitions held throughout the week. There will be a trip to Colonial Williamsburg on Tuesday evening for all campers at no additional cost.
Rules and Regulations: All campers will be required to comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the Director at the beginning of camp. Violations may result in immediate dismissal from camp without refund.
Camp Size: The total number of campers in all programs during the July 19-22 session will be capped at 225.
Refund Policy: If campers are forced to withdraw before the start of camp due to injury, illness, or family emergencies, partial refunds of the full price of camp, minus a $75 administrative fee will be granted by the Camp Director.
