FALL ID CAMP 2020
All sessions are held on the official training and playing grounds of the Campbell University women’s soccer team, and players in attendance will have an opportunity to work, and interact with, current and former players and staff.
The morning session will consist of technical and individual work through a warm up, attacking and defending to goal, and small sided games.
After lunch, players will have the ability to ask questions to our panel of current players regarding Campbell University and life as a student-athlete. Parents are welcome!
The evening session will be geared towards tactical/positional assessment through full field games.
What To Bring
Please make sure you have all necessary training gear and equipment with you upon arrival (shirt, shorts, shin guards, cleats, ball, water bottle, soccer socks x2, runners, sandals (optional) and any cold and rain weather). Please bring necessary shoes to play indoor as weather may force us inside. Cleats are NOT permitted inside the buildings, please bring alternate shoes.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
All sessions will proceed as scheduled unless weather or field conditions are deemed unsafe and/or unplayable.
In the event of lightning in the area, the camp will adhere to Campbell University and Campbell Athletics Lightning protocol which will be monitored by the Certified Athletic Trainer on staff. If lightning is detected in the area, all sessions will be halted, and all campers/staff must head indoors immediately, until lighting has left the area. In the event of a weather-related emergency, a text message will be sent with announcements and updated schedule information. This message will come from a 5-digit number, and will be sent to the number(s) on your registration form.
All campers will be responsible for their own transportation. Campbell staff will assist any campers walking from the field to the building.
