2018 Elite / Prospect Overnight Camp

Welcome to Geneseo's Elite/Prospect Camp! This camp is designed for experienced players who are interested in advancing their skills and knowledge of volleyball as well as learning more about SUNY Geneseo as an option for their collegiate career. Day 1 will focus on teaching and fine-tuning volleyball fundamentals; Day 2 will enhance your game through individual skills/technique sessions, chalk-talks, and high-intensity team drills; Day 3 will wrap-up the weekend with competitive game play. This camp is designed for players with experience that have a strong desire to work hard, be dedicated to the sport, and continue to improve their game.

Camp sessions will be run similarly to high-level collegiate practices with intense training instruction of all volleyball skills. Our goal is for all campers to feel as though they are ready to take their game to the next level when they leave us-- whether it be at the collegiate, high school, or club level. If you’re looking to test yourself in an intense environment and play some fantastic volleyball, this is the camp for you!

All campers will receive a camp gift, a skill/game evaluation from the coaching staff, and opportunities to attend a Geneseo Campus Tour, a Recruiting Seminar, and a College Admissions Session with a member of Geneseo’s admissions department.

For overnight campers: athletes will be housed with other campers and coaching staff in a dormitory on Geneseo's campus. Meals will be provided at an on-campus dining hall.

Check-in: 1:30 PM on Friday 7/27
Friday: Session 1 (2:30 PM - 4:30 PM), Dinner, Recruiting Seminar, Session 2 (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
Saturday: Breakfast, Session 3 (9 AM – 11:30 AM), Lunch + Admissions Session + Campus Tour, Session 4 (2:00 PM - 4:30 PM), Dinner, Session 5 (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
Sunday: Breakfast, Session 6/7 (9:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
