The Volleyball Academy 2 | July 19th - July 21st
Event Description
THE VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY 1 & 2
The Academy is an elite 3-day experience unlike any other camp program in the region. There are only 60 slots available for each camp date leaving camp space to be extremely limited. Whether you have committed to college, looking at college options, or are looking to make your high school team, the program will jump start your fall and give you the edge necessary to achieve your goals. The Academy Program includes at least 15 hours of on-court instruction in 7 sessions. There will be sessions on goal setting, video and life skills sessions with the Indiana Volleyball Staff along with sessions with our Strength and Performance Coaches and Nutritionists. These additional sessions will include information from volleyball specific flexibility, core work, ankle knee and shoulder strength, conditioning and plyometrics to how to fuel your body for success, including tips for one day tournaments and multi-day qualifiers. Goal Setting and life skills session with Head Coach Steve Aird to discuss recruiting and mapping out your high school and college goals. Position specific training and breakout sessions will lead to team drills and 6 on 6 play. Will also include the latest technology including VERT, and Video breakdown during sessions to get a feel for the technology used at the highest collegiate level.
All overnight campers will be housed on campus in dorms that are AIR CONDITIONED and all meals will take place at an on campus dining hall that has lots of options to choose from which both are conveniently located directly across the street from all training facilities! The Academy will prove to provide some of the most elite training in the region with our staff and an experience that you will be able to take a lot of new knowledge back to your school, club or future college teams.
- Registration Requirements: All required medical paperwork and waiver forms need to be completed.
