Benet Academy Camps

Boys Volleyball

Youth All Skills Camp
June 17th - 20th, 2019
Who: Boys Entering Grades 4th - 9th
Time: 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $100 by June 1st;
$115 after June 1st

***DISCOUNT = If 9th grader signs up for both camps total cost will be $200 ($30 off)

Youth All Skills Camp

Camp Features:

This camp is designed to cover individual and team skills in a positive, enthusiastic environment. Basic fundamentals and concepts will be introduced, as well as drills with a higher degree of intensity and difficulty for more advanced players. The main focus of our camp is to create better volleyball players. There will be a strong emphasis on improving one’s individual skills, along with team play. By coming to this camp the athletes will be provided with technical instruction, proper feedback, maximum ball contact, as well as a global understanding of the game. This camp is intended for future Benet volleyball players or players thinking about coming to Benet.

Camp Instructors:

The camp will be run by varsity volleyball coach Jeff Steinberg, current Benet volleyball staff members, and also current and past Benet volleyball players.

The current Benet volleyball staff has experience playing and coaching at the collegiate, high school, and middle school levels. The coaches have a passion for helping new volleyball players develop an understanding and love for the game of volleyball, along with refining the skills of more advanced players to help them compete at the highest level of volleyball.

What to bring: water bottle or sports drink, small snack if needed


High School Competition Camp

Camp Features:

This camp is designed to cover individual and team skills in a positive, enthusiastic environment. The main focus of our camp is to allow players to compete. There will be a strong emphasis on improving one’s individual skills, along with team play, for those new to the sport of volleyball. Athletes who have been playing competitive volleyball though will experience a week of intense competition to see how they rank amongst their peers.

Camp Instructors:

The camp will be run by varsity volleyball coach Jeff Steinberg, current Benet volleyball staff members, and also current or former college volleyball players.

The current Benet volleyball staff has experience playing and coaching at the collegiate, high school, and middle school levels. The coaches have a passion for helping new volleyball players develop an understanding and love for the game of volleyball, along with refining the skills of more advanced players to help them compete at the highest level of volleyball.

What to bring: water bottle or sports drink, extra socks/t-shirt, small snack if needed
