Middle School Overnight Camp

Our middle school camp is designed to help athletes improve on all the basic skills of the game as well as learn new skills and proper technique. Our training will focus on mastering passing and serving techniques while also bringing in more advanced skills such as the following:

Hitting—proper arm swing technique, approach footwork, transition, hitting different play sets, shot selection, running different routes, and hitting different sets out of serve receive.

Setting-- Set quick offense, set new plays, footwork, transition on defense, proper setting techniques, and transition out of serve receive.

Defense—blocking and blocking footwork, offensive/defensive team play, competition through triples and quads to practice skills being learned.

Registration Info

• Balance is due the first day of camp. Money Orders and Cash ONLY for all remaining balances including those who register late.
• Early Registration requires a $100 non-refundable deposit by June 14- this will insure that you receive a camp t-shirt.
• Check-in/Late Registration is on Thursday, June 27 at 12:00pm at the Mabee Athletic Complex on the HSU campus.

Housing:  Campers will stay in one of the HSU dorms and the HSU Cowgirls will serve as dorm counselors.

Key Deposit:  A key deposit of $10 will be collected at the dorm by the dorm director.

Commuters:  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the first session of the day and should be picked up by 8pm. Campers are not allowed to leave the campus unless a parent signs them out.

Discounts and Incentives:

• Family Discount – if you have more than one child participating, you will receive a $10 discount per child.
• Early Bird – Those who participate in early registration must pay their deposit by June 14th to guarantee a camp t-shirt on arrival.
