CAMP DESCRIPTION
The Western Michigan University Volleyball All-Skills Camp is for campers with skill levels ranging from beginner to elite level middle school and beginning high school and club players. Skills are taught through drills that introduce and improve all of the basic volleyball skills. Our camp staff will work to ensure that your experience at camp will prepare you for your next level of competition! Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. There will be an awards ceremony immediately following camp at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, July 22nd in Read Fieldhouse.

GROUP DISCOUNT
A 10% discount is available for groups of 5 or more. To receive the discount, please contact camp director Kyle Stahl prior to registration at kyle.r.stahl@wmich.edu.

GENERAL INFORMATION
All camps include extensive fundamental training via team drills, and offensive and defensive drill sessions. All campers are placed into groups of similar skill levels to ensure a challenging yet safe environment for campers to improve their skills. Campers can expect to perform the same drills regardless of their group placement. Coaches will continually encourage campers to advise us of any personal needs, issues or changes.

EQUIPMENT
All campers should bring a good pair of athletic shoes, kneepads, and a water bottle. All Skills Campers should also bring a bathing suit with them, as we will have time at the pool on the second day of camp.

FOOD
All campers will be fed lunch and dinner for All-Skills Camp. Resident campers will also be fed breakfast. We encourage all commuting campers to eat a breakfast prior to the start of each morning.

HOUSING
Camp is extremely safe! Resident campers will be housed in A NEW AND AIR CONDITIONED DORM. The dorm is supervised by our camp staff living on the same floors and dorm supervisors on duty. Linens and towels are provided. The dorms do not provide blankets so you will need to bring your own blanket. You may wish to bring a fan and money for vending machines, laundry, WMU merchandise, etc. You may request a roommate ahead of time. We will do our best to accommodate roommate requests, however they are not guaranteed.

MEDICAL SUPERVISION
Each camper must have a completed and signed medical release form AND concussion form. No camper will be allowed to participate without both on file in the WMU Athletic Training office. Forms can be found online. Campers will receive 24-hour athletic training supervision. A certified trainer will be present at all sessions.

PARKING
Any camper with a car must purchase a parking pass if they are parking on campus. Commuter campers with a car must park in Lot 13, located in front of the Student Recreation building. Parents or guardians responsible for pick up may park in Lot 13 without being ticketed during camp registration and when picking up campers. If Lot 13 is used other than those designated times, they must use a meter or parking pass. 3-day parking passes are available for $10 and will be issued at check-in.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
Your camp fee, less a $50.00 non-refundable administrative deposit will be refunded without question if you cancel at least two weeks prior to the beginning of camp. At any time after that date, refunds (less the $50.00 administrative fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician. No refunds will be made after the start of camp.
